You can add multiple users to your Race Space account and give each of them different permissions, so people only see what is relevant to their role. This lets your team work independently.
Find it in the Organiser Profile tab in the main menu. Scroll to the bottom of the Organisation Information section, where you will see a section called Users. Everything below happens there.
The three permission types
Administrator. Full access to the account. Can create and edit events, view all finances, reports and participant details. This is the only permission type that can add, edit and remove other users.
Finance Administrator. Full read-only access to the account. Participant details and all account settings are restricted.
Super User. Full access to the account except the organiser profile and account settings.
Custom permission types are available on request.
Adding a user
In the Users section, select the + button.
The Add User side panel opens. Enter the email address of the person you are giving access to.
Select the permission type from the three above.
Select Add User.
They will receive an email notification with an access link.
What happens for the person you invited
They receive an email on your behalf stating which permission type they have been given, with a link.
If they already have a personal Race Space account, the link asks for their existing login details. The Choose Access Type side panel then appears automatically, letting them pick between their Personal Account and the new permission you assigned.
If they do not have an account, they will first create one and accept the Race Space Terms & Conditions. The Choose Access Type panel then appears as above.
To move between accounts later, they open the My Account dropdown and select Switch Account, which reopens the Choose Access Type panel.
Changing or removing a user
Select the Edit button next to the user you want to change.
The Edit User side panel opens. The email address cannot be edited, but you can change the permission type from the dropdown.
Select Save Changes. The new permissions take effect immediately.
To remove someone entirely, select Remove User in the same panel. This permanently deletes the user.
