Understanding your net revenue: how fees are calculated

Why the amount you receive differs from the ticket price, and which fees are deducted where.

Your accountant may ask why the net amount on a transaction does not exactly match your entry price. The difference comes from how fees are split and whether you pass the booking fee on to entrants.

  • Booking fee: the rate is set in your agreement with Race Space. The Fee Structure slider in Step 2 controls how much is passed on to entrants. Most organisers pass 100% on, so it is added on top of the entry price.

  • Stripe processing fees: deducted from the transaction.

  • Reserve: 10% held until seven days after the event.

  1. Open Finances → Transactions and select the transaction.

  2. Download the Receipt to see the line items.

  3. Use Export transaction history for your accountant.

Note: Fee rates depend on your individual agreement with Race Space. For the exact rates that apply to your account, check your agreement or contact your Race Space account manager.
