Speedy Checkout lets entrants buy tickets without filling in participant details at the point of purchase. Switch it on or off in the Racer Services section of the Event Creator.
How it works for the buyer
It is a buy now, register later process. At checkout the buyer selects how many tickets they want, adds their email address and completes the purchase. There is no limit on how many tickets can go through in a single transaction.
They then receive an email confirming the purchase and prompting them to register participant details. They can either complete those details themselves or send entries on to friends to complete their own registration forms.
Why unregistered tickets rarely stay unregistered
Buyers tick a box at checkout confirming they understand that registration still has to be completed before tickets are issued. After that, Race Space sends weekly email reminders to anyone who has not registered, and daily alerts in the run-up to entries closing. In practice very few entries are left unregistered.
Tracking who has not registered yet
Open your Event Dashboard.
Go to Manage Racers.
Select the Unregistered Tickets tab at the top.
This shows everyone holding unregistered tickets, how many tickets each person holds, and when they were last reminded. You can also send reminders yourself from this screen.
